Sandra Peterson

Sandra Peterson, 76, of Webster City, died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center, with Pastor Gina Sterk officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm.
Sandra Ann Johnson, daughter of Harold and Helen Baker Johnson, was born July 17, 1943 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Grand Community in Boxholm. On July 6, 1962, Sandra was united in marriage to John Loyd Peterson in Boxholm. Sandra was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed, caring for her flowers and all her pets, and loved to read about history and biographies. She had a love for sports cars, fashion and jewelry, especially learning about the history and location of various gemstones. Sandra and John enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas and cruises to the Caribbean.
She is survived by her children, Melanie (Kirk) Cramer of Clarion, Jeff (Paula) Peterson of South Elgin, IL.; grandchildren, Cassidie (Luke) Odland, Collin (Lora) Peterson and many extended family.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, John (Pete); her parents, and brother, Jimmy Johnson.
