Ruth Krazeisen

Ruth Krazeisen, 90, of Webster City died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Graveside services are pending for a later date this spring. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Ruth Haug, daughter of Ernest and Pauline (Weiss) Haug, was born October 21, 1931 in Altbach, Germany. She graduated from Berheim High School. On June 17, 1950 Ruth was united in marriage to Richard Reinhold Krazeisen in Berkheim, Germany. Ruth, Richard and family arrived in New York aboard the Queen Elizabeth II on October 12, 1954. She was very proud to become a United States citizen on May 26, 1962. Ruth worked for the Webster City Schools as a cook for 24 years, retiring in 1980.
She is survived by daughter, Anita (James) Lee of Des Moines; grandchildren, Theo and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Cadeon, Kaleb, and Wesley.
In addition to her husband Richard in 2005, Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; son Roland Krazeisen in 2020, and her sister, Annerose Schuebel.
Ruth enjoyed sewing, reading, word searches and coloring books.
