Rodney Carlson, 65, of Webster City died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Southfield Wellness Community. Private services have been held with Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
Rodney Boyd Carlson, son of Charles and Marcia (Terwilliger) Carlson, was born May 29, 1959 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Manson high school. Rodney enlisted into the United States Navy and served for six years, until his discharge following his motorcycle accident. He had a great sense of humor and loved to scare people. Rodney enjoyed his time in the Navy, collecting movie DVDs and playing many games of Solitaire.
He is survived by his sisters, Tammy (Troy) Greenfield of Webster City, Anna (Jesse) Rascon-Arana of Fort Collins, CO; nephews, Carl (Carrie) Moen, Kyle Greenfield, Jesse Rascon; niece, Katie (Johnathan) Brandt; and great-niece and great-nephew, Ava and Colby.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marcia and stepmother, Loretta Olson Carlson.
