Robert A. Rubash, 77, of Webster City, died Friday, February 6, 2009 at the Hamilton Hospital. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Rev. Scott Boone presiding. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the rosary will be at 6:45 p.m. Monday with a scripture service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Monday and prior to the Mass. Robert A. Rubash, 77, of Webster City, died Friday, February 6, 2009 at Hamilton Hospital. He was born August 7, 1931, in Michigan, ND, a son of the late Anton and Laurabelle Foote Rubash. He was married on June 9, 1952 for 49 years to the late Florence Mae LaFave Rubash. He received his education at Central High School in East Grand Forks, MN. From September 1952 to September 1954, he served in the U.S. Army in an artillery unit in Fort Sill, OK. He was the owner of AB Construction Parts Company in Fort Dodge and he was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus at Billings, MT. Robert is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Joni Rubash; Randy Rubash of Billings, MT; and Kevin Rubash of Webster City; three daughters and son-in-laws, Rita and Sam Worm of Webster City; Lorna and Bill Worm of Billings, MT; and Janelle and Scott McCormick of McMinnville, OR; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sons.
