Robert Roosa Sr, 81, of Webster City died Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2022 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Robert LeRoy Roosa Sr, was born to Howard and Mabel (Waddle) Roosa, on February 19, 1941 in Clarion. He attended schools in Hampton, Clarion and Webster City. On August 31, 1962, Bob was united in marriage to Sheryl Sue Besaw at the Calvary Temple Church in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City. Bob had worked for Nissans and Heller’s Carbonic, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed camping, fishing and anytime spent enjoying the grandkids and family events.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sheryl; children, Lisa (Chris) Bryant of Center Point, Bobby Roosa Jr of Thor, Sherry (Jeff) Beem of Webster City; grandchildren, Kailey, Kalab, Rogan (Kristy), Radney (Megan), Noah, Jordyn, Miranda, Brandon (Sarah), Sydney, Brock; great-grandsons, Lincoln, Travis, Rexten; sisters, Sandy Gumm of Bondurant, Carol Jo of Michigan; brothers, Larry (Cindy) Roosa of Eagle Grove, Dennis (Donna) Roosa of Webster City; sister-in-law, Linda Roosa of Stanhope; brother-in-law, Gary (Linda) Besaw of Webster City and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Steurm and brother, Ronnie Roosa.
