Robert Jensen

Robert A. Jensen, 59, of Iowa Falls, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center in Webster City, with Rev. Scott Boone officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Fosters Chapel. Robert Allen Jensen, son of Ire and Ruth Roggow Jensen, was born July 21, 1949 in Storm Lake, Iowa. He received his education and graduated from Alta High School in 1967. He attended two years at Buena Vista College before starting his career with Wells Blue Bunny, where he has been a sales representative since 1975. On July 22, 1977, he married Nancy Ann Nerland in Royal, IA. The couple resided at Royal, Spencer and central Kansas, before moving to Webster City in 1999. Mrs. Jensen died October 24, 2002. Bob moved to Iowa Falls in 2003. Survivors include his sons, Kyle Jensen of Henderson, NV; Kurt (Ashley) Jensen of St. Joseph, MO; Aaron (Shanda) Johnston of Hubbard; daughters, Amy Jensen of Hutchinson, KS; Kelly (Rodney) Sidener of Woodbine, KS; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Larry (Diane) Jensen of Starbuck, MN; and his father, Ire Jensen of Storm Lake.
