Rick Hupp

Rick Hupp, 76, of Webster City died Thursday, June 4, 2026 from injuries sustained in a house fire. No services are scheduled at this time. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for Rick and his family.

Richard Michael Hupp, son of Harley and Beverly (Calkins) Hupp, was born December 5, 1949 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School and attended college at Iowa Central Community College, then attended Iowa State University. Rick was united in marriage to Jean Moon in 1983, and to this union two daughters were born. The couple later divorced. On December 31, 1993, he married Michele Madsen at the Science Center in Des Moines. Rick worked many years in Ankeny for RCS Millwork, prior to retiring to Webster City.

He is survived by his daughters, Leslee (Jimmy) Harrison of Winterset, Hayley (Matt) Nugent of Ankeny; stepdaughters, Holly Shafer of Des Moines, Kimberly Shafer of Ankeny; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and sister, Jaci Hupp of Webster City.

Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Michele and his parents, Harley and Bev Hupp.
