Richard Dishman, 69, of Webster City died Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May, 22, 2023 at Anchor Point-Baptist Church in Webster City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Richard Eugene Dishman, son of Claude and Joy (Anders) Dishman, was born June 21, 1953 in Webster City. He attended school in Webster City. Richard was united in marriage to Sheryl Wertz and to this union a daughter was born, Tina. The couple later divorced. He enjoyed watching Nascar races.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Aaliyah Brown of Webster City; son-in-law, John Brown of Webster City; step-mother, Joan Dishman; half-sisters, Jody Berry, Jolene Brinkman, Donna (Dennis) Roosa and half-brother, Donald Adams Jr.
Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Brown; his parents; brother, Clyde Dishman and half-sister, Jackie Fraser Reyna.
