Richard Allen, 75, of Webster City formerly of Blairsburg died Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the U.C.C. Church in Blairsburg.
Richard Lee Allen, son of Wayne and Ruth (Love) Allen, was born May 24, 1944 in Hampton. Richard was united in marriage on January 29, 1972 to Susan E. Griep in Elk Point, SD. Dick worked for Umthun Trucking in Eagle Grove and Beam Industry prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (NaTasha) Allen of Webster City; grandchildren, Paxton and Olivia; brother, Bill (Peggy) Adams of Garner and several extended family members.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Susan in 2016; his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
He was a member of the U.C.C. in Blairsburg. Dick enjoyed camping, traveling and going to car shows. He was a past Boy Scout leader and member of the Blairsburg Fire Department, retiring in 2003.
