Phyllis Bahrenfuss

Phyllis Bahrenfuss, 89, of Webster City died Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Due to COVID, services are pending for Spring 2021. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Phyllis Ann Hoversten, daughter of Willard and Mildred Wilson Hoversten, was born July 16, 1931 in Williams. She graduated from Williams High School. On December 9, 1952 Phyllis was united in marriage to Lee Laverne Bahrenfuss in Webster City. She was an elementary teacher for many years in Webster City and Blairsburg. After retiring, she continued to substitute teach. The couple moved to Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation in 2016.
She is survived by her son, Dale Bahrenfuss of Fort Dodge; daughter, Dee Lieberman of Grimes; grandchildren, Erik Hoffman, Sonya Hayes and Kody Lieberman; siblings, Lyle (Carolyn) Hoversten, Carol (Pat) Keane, Earl (Dorothy) Hoversten all of Webster City; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Lee, in March 2020; her parents; siblings, Harold Hoversten, Larry Hoversten, Russell Hoversten, Fae Nicholson and Fern Loughry.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
