Paul Pruismann

Paul Jelto Pruismann, 89, of Webster City passed away peacefully at Van Diest Medical Center on July 12, 2024, surrounded by those he loved. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center followed by a private family burial at Graceland Cemetery.
Paul was born on February 8, 1935, in Webster City, Iowa to Tena (Rewerts) and John Pruismann. He was the youngest of their two boys. Paul graduated from Lincoln High in Webster City. On November 13, 1955, he married Yvonne “Vonnie” Branyord and they made their home in Webster City. Together Paul & Vonnie welcomed three children: Mike, Rita & Mark. Paul farmed for many years with his son, Mike, as well as owned and operated Paul Pruismann Trucking working alongside his brother, Big John, and his son, Mark. Paul was a board member of the North Central Iowa Tractor Club.
He will always be remembered for his love of farming, tractor pulls, tractor rides, watching demolition derbies and trucking. Paul was never afraid of work and was always up for a cup of coffee.
Paul is survived in death by his three children: Michael & Mindee Pruismann of Webster City, Rita (Pruismann) & Dave Vanderheiden of Woolstock, and Mark & Gailene Pruismann of Webster City; six grandchildren: Meisha Pruismann of Charlotte, NC, Gabby Fistler of Ackley, Yvette Andersen of Bellevue, Jacob & Abbey Pruismann of Blairsburg, Mikaela (Pruismann) & Jesse Anderson, of Webster City, and Taylor (Pruismann) & Garett Claude of Stratford; five great grandchildren: Eleanor, Ava, Maren, Henry & Landrey; his sister-in-law Kay Ubben of Stratford; and his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Vonnie of 62 years, his parents and brother F. John Pruismann.
