Norm White, 69, of Webster City, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Michael Slininger officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Norman Ray White was born September 3, 1946 in Bend, OR the son of Oris and Norma Pivinski White. He married Vye Mae Aldropp on October 30, 1971 in Reno, NV. The couple resided in Santa Rosa, CA. Norm worked for the Press Democrat while in Santa Rosa. In 1976, the couple moved to Webster City. They owned and operated V&N Transport for many years. Later, Norm was an equipment operator for the Iowa DOT. Vye preceded him in death on July 1, 2003. Norm is survived by his children, Bridgette (Douglas) Dockstader of Gilbert, Gina Barnsdale of Scaramento, CA; grandchildren, Teresa (Paul) Assing; Eric (Amber) Barnsdale, Jennifer Heiser, Theresa Holland; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Correna Balsley and Vicki Paine; son-in-law, Dan Balsley. Norm enjoyed motor cross, boating, camping and canoeing.
