Norman Ihle

Norman T. Ihle, 74, of Webster City, died on February 3, 2011 at the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Revs. Mike Kroona and Tony Ede officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. Burial will be held at a later date at Graceland Cemetery. Norman T. Ihle son of Joseph and Martha Larson Ihle was born on July 30, 1936 in Slater, Iowa. He received his education from the Slater and Williams schools. On April 13, 1958 he married Linda Jeanine Abbott at the Church of Christ in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City where Norman worked as a salesman for International Harvestor, and as manager for Curve In Motor Sales. The couple owned and operated Variety Auto Sales in Webster City where he had worked for over 40+ years. Mrs. Ihle died on May 5, 2010 Survivors include his sons, Rick (Jenny) Ihle of Webster City; Tracy (Marlene) Ihle of Plymouth, MN; Chad (Stacey) Ihle of Maple Grove, MN; daughters, Lisa (John) Berglund of Webster City; Paula (Jeff) Peterson of South Elgin, IL; Cindy (Brian) Diehl of Humboldt; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Herbert (Kathy) Ihle of Marco Island, FL; sister, Mary Lou Jensen and special friend, Marlin Smith of Blairsburg; sister-in-law, Norma Ihle of Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Linda, he was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Marion Ihle of Nevada.
