Michael H. Segar Sr., 75, of Webster City died Monday, April 14, 2025 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Private family memorial services will be held at a later time. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for Michael and family.
Michael Hunter Segar Sr., son of Richard and Alice (Carnell) Segar, was born June 3, 1949 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1969. On October 3, 1987, Michael was united in marriage to Dora L. Harrington. He worked for Modern Farms and then maintenance at Vantec for 22 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding on the boat, playing BINGO and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Dori; sons, Matthew (Kristi) Segar of Hull, Michael H. Seger Jr. of Webster City; grandchildren, Brett, Trevor, Eli, Macy and Landon; mother, Alice Harskamp of Sioux Center; brother, Pat (Chris) Segar of Webster City; sister, Donna (Dennis) Spitler of Sioux Falls, SD; stepsisters, Denise (Vic) Schiebout of Minneapolis, MN, Deane Sneller (Doug Gerwolf) of Sioux Center; stepbrother, Gary (Tammi) Harskamp, and several extended family members.
Michael was preceded in death by his father; infant son, Michael Dean Segar and stepfather, Gerald Harskamp.
