Michael Dingman, 72, of Webster City died Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at his home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2205 at Foster Funeral & Cremation Center with a time of sharing memories at 6:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery in Des Moines.

Michael Duane Dingman, son of Duane M. and Nadine F. Lunning Dingman, was born July 25, 1953, in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1971, he attended Iowa State University before enlisting. He served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1977. Michael was married to Margaret Carroll in Gowrie, in 1979. To this union two children were born, Jason and Teresa. The couple later divorced. On June 20, 1998, Michael was united in marriage to Catheryn Patton Ziebell in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City where he worked as the Plant Manager for Heller’s Carbonic for many years. Prior to his retirement, he had worked at Unity Point- Trinity Regional Hospital in maintenance. Michael enjoyed decorating his home with many Christmas lights for all to enjoy, gardening, humoring others with jokes and playing video games with his eldest grandson. He was a member of the American Legion Post #191.

He is survived by his spouse of 27 years, Catheryn; son, Jason (Chris) Dingman; daughter, Teresa (Scott) Tempel all of Webster City; Michael always considered Catheryn's daughters as his; daughters, Shanna Patton of Riverview, FL, Stacey (Russell) Bauer of Huxley, and Katie Ziebell of Webster City; his grandchildren were his pride and joy, Aidan, Zoey, Djoudlina, Violet, Wesley, and Iris; he had 2 step-granddaughters and several step-great-grandchildren; sister, Cherrie Miller of Overland Park, KS. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be given in Michael's memory to the Cat Hut in Webster City.
