Michael Ray Adams, 72, of Webster City passed away peacefully Sunday, December 26, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at the Israel Hospice House in Ames, Iowa. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 3pm - 5pm with a bonfire to follow at 525 Hillcrest Drive. The family requests casual attire be worn such as Iowa/ISU or NASCAR apparel,
Mike was born Jan 25, 1949, in Webster City, Iowa to parents Eldon and Joan Adams.
Mike spent most of his youth growing up in Kamrar, Iowa. He enjoyed sports, hunting, NASCAR and
spending time with family and friends. Mike graduated in 1968 from Northeast Hamilton where he was
a member of the 1968 State High School Tournament team finishing 3rd that year.
He is survived by his children Kelly Adams Wilensky (Adam) of Asheville, NC, Justin Adams (Tracie) of Boone, IA; stepdaughter, Becky Didato (Barry) of Irvine, CA; stepson, Brad Williams, of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Liam, Sidney, and Sophia. His children and grandchildren were his heart, his pride and joy, and his love for them was shared often.
Mike is also survived by brothers, Steven (Sharon) Adams of Webster City, IA, Chris (Sandy) Adams of Cape Fair, MO; sisters Cindy (Mark) Weldin of Williams, IA, Marcia (John) Pahl of Webster City, IA, Carla (Lou) Montuoro of Cedar Rapids, IA, Sonya (Scott) Neuroth of Webster City, IA and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Mary Ankrum Adams June 13, 2017.
