May Bordwell

May Bordwell, 92, of Osage Beach, Missouri, formerly of Webster City, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her home in Osage Beach. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. May Elizabeth Wiese was born October 17, 1922 in Algona, the daughter of Carl and Ora Collins Wiese. She graduated from Livermore High School. On July 12, 1941, she married Carroll Vernon "Hook" Bordwell in Blue Earth Minnesota. The couple made their home in Webster City. They retired to Osage Beach, MO in 1988. Hook died February 2, 2006. May is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Deral (Wanda) Bordwell of Osage Beach, MO and Don (Helen) Bordwell of Webster City; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra (Vern) Alexander of Webster City and Carolyn (James) Hodson of Osage Beach, MO; daughter-in-law, Cathleen Bordwell of Omaha, NE; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Bordwell; grandson, Kevin Bordwell; brothers, Earl and Lloyd Wiese; sisters, Bernice McAleese and Shirley Rydell. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Osage Beach, MO.
