Mary Howe, 94, of Webster City died Monday, March 13, 2023 at Southfield Nursing & Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Williams Cemetery. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Mary Elva Rodgers, daughter of Herman and Hester (Terrell) Rodgers, was born January 4, 1929 in Simpsonville, KY. On January 13, 1947, Mary was united in marriage to Lee W. Howe in Louisville, KY. The couple resided in Williams from 1940s until 1991 when they moved to Webster City.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lee (Rich) Nondorf of Highland, WI, Connie Madole of Webster City; grandchildren, Dawn (Mark) Froiseth, Kim (Chad) Pennington, Brian (Denise) Wagner, Aaron (Tracy) Wagner, Kristin (Chris Soeder) Madole, Scott (Nicole Graham) Madole; 11 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 2012; her parents; sisters, Vella Mae Gordon, Lou Ellen Sadler, Sarah Butters; brothers, Woodrow Rodgers, Neville Rodgers, Raymond Rodgers and niece, Madeline Gordon.
