Mary Hartwig

Mary Kathryn Bealmer Hartwig, 82, of Rogers, AR passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born October 30, 1935 in Webster City, Iowa to the late Alfred Wayne Bealmer and Mae Louise Hanken Bealmer. Mary was raised and educated in Woolstock, graduating in 1953. Mary and Gary R. Hartwig were united in marriage on September 18, 1966 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Woolstock and lived in the Story City and Stanhope areas. In 1985 the family moved to Bentonville, AR where they owned the Avoca One Stop convenience store. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Amy Louise Hartwig, and her ex-husband. Mary was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, AR. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Debi Hartwig of Bentonville; her grandchildren, Lauren and Miles Hartwig; numerous extended family members and many dear friends. A Graveside Funeral service will be at 10:00am June 2, 2018 in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City. A reception at St. Paul's Lutheran Church will follow.
