Marlys Vulgamott

Marlys Vulgamott, 98, of Webster City, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Reverend Pete Peterson officiating. Vistitation will be 2 hours prior to service time on Monday. Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery. Marlys Eileen Vulgamott, the daughter of Charles and Susan Pepperling was born March 29, 1912 at Ackley, IA. She graduated from Ackley High School and the Webster City Junior College. On June 30, 1933, she married Howard Vulgamott at her home in Ackley, IA. They always lived in Webster City, where she was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, both parents and two brothers. She is survived by her niece, Joan Pepperling Speer and her husband, Howard of Beaver Dam, WI; several Vulgamott nieces and nephews and those special people who always called her Nana.
