Mabel Rush

Mabel Rush, 94, of Stanhope, died, Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Graceland Cemetery.
Mabel Irene Lawson, daughter of Loron and Bessie Rexroat Lawson, was born December 16, 1924 in Webster City. She graduated from Stanhope Consolidated High School. Mabel married Gaylord Delbert Rush on June 14, 1942 in Stanhope. She was bookkeeper and office manager for Lonergan trucking company in Boone, retiring in 1982.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Lenny) Lorentzen of Kingman, AZ, Wanda (Larry) Lingren of Boone, Susan Shaw of Stanhope, five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Mabel was a member of the Church of Christ in Stanhope.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord in 1992; brother, Edward Lawson and sister, Mary Maxine Enderson.
