Lynette Holdgrafer, 69, of Williams died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at the Williams Community Center on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Lynette Kay Sweet, daughter of Kenneth and Mona (Cook) Sweet, was born March 19, 1952 in Marshalltown. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1970. On April 3, 1971 Lynette was united in marriage to Dennis L. Holdgrafer at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She worked for the Best Western in Williams, Trumps, and later for Hamilton Hospital as a pharmacy tech and housekeeper.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis; daughter, Denyse (Chris) Logue of Williams; grandson, Kenneth Logue of Williams; sister, Cindi (Steve) Sinclair of Woolstock; brothers, Steve (Rose) Sweet of Wisconsin, Kevin (Colleen) Sweet of Minnesota and many extended family and friends.
Lynette is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Kay Holdgrafer and her parents.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and most of all spending time with her family and friends especially her grandson, Kenneth.
