Lyle Smith, 70, of Webster City died Monday, August 30, 2021 at Van Diest Medical Center. No services are planned at this time. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Lyle Eugene Smith, son of John and Dorothy Smith was born November 25, 1950 in Arkansas. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam. On September 24, 1976, Lyle was united in marriage to Valerie Kay Rosine at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City. He had worked in the past for Peterson Construction as a carpenter.
He is survived by his children, Greg Smith of Webster City, Daniel (Jeana) Smith of Ankeny, Emily Smith of Webster City; grandchildren, Paige, Victoria, Abby, Taysia, Coleton; sister, Linda Williams; and brother, David Smith both of Fort Dodge.
Lyle was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie in April 2019 and his parents.
