Luverne was a farmer all his life, helping Lynn in the Spring and Fall until this last year when age caught up with him. He loved his family and enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of their activities. His biggest love after Gayle and his family was his horses. He had farmed with horses in his youth and rode into his 80's in horse shows, trail rides in Iowa and surrounding states. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and his shy smile he had for everyone around him.
