Larry Larson, 77, of Webster City, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life/visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Larson residence, 2486 Inkpaduta Avenue. Larry DeWayne Larson, was born July 24, 1939 in Sac City, the son of Lawrence and Bernice Russell Larson. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1958. He served his country in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961. Larry married June Elaine Schnell on July 5, 1974 in Fort Dodge. He worked at the Elevator in Eagle Grove and later at Electrolux until his retirement in 1995. Larry is survived by his wife, June of Webster City; sons, Allen Larson of San Antonio, TX, William Larson of Stanhope, Mike Arthur of Parker, CO, Chris Arthur of Webster City; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Amy) Larson of Nevada; sisters-in-law, Ruth Norris and Marsha Dayton, both of Webster City; brother-in-law, Melvin Schnell of Eagle Grove and many extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Larson; brother, Eugene Larson; sister, Carmen McKinney; and nephew, Chris Larson.
