Kevin "Bear" Kruger, 60, of Webster City, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mike Kroona officiating. Burial will follow the services at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Kevin Kruger, son of Verle and Evelyn (Peters) Kruger, was born August 19, 1956 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1975. He was employed with NAPA Auto Parts for the last 19 years. Kevin is survived by siblings, Kenny (Mary) Kruger of Webster City, Kathy Brockman of Webster City; niece, Kara (Ben) Walstrom, nephew, Kraig (Stephanie) Kruger, great nieces, Meredith and Riley Binder; great nephews, Kellen and Barrett Walstron and Kade Kruger; brother-in-law, John Malmberg and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Malmberg. Kevin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and The Sons of the American Legion Post 191. He enjoyed fishing, camping and his cats. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was lovingly referred to as "Uncle Buck."
