Kenny Kruger, 74 of Webster City died Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the church. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for the family.
Kenneth Keith Kruger, son of Verle and Evelyn (Peters) Kruger, was born January 29, 1949 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1968. On June 27, 1970, Kenny was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Pingel at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. He worked for Electrolux for 35 plus years in various positions and Mertz Engineering for 10 years, retiring in 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary of Webster City; son, Kraig (Stephanie) Kruger; daughter, Kara (Ben) Walstrom of Webster City; grandchildren, Meredith and Riley Binder, Kellen and Barrett Walstrom, Kade and Cora Kruger; sister, Kathy (Bill) Wilis of Platteville, WI; sister-in-law, Sue (Doug) Seltz of Clare and several extended family members.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kevin Kruger and sister, Karen (John) Malmberg.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Kenny was a proud grandpa and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
