Kenneth K. Kepler, Jr., 47, of Lehigh, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Craig Blaufuss officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the service on Thursday. Kenneth Keith Kepler, Jr., son of Kenneth and Marilyn Kunz Kepler, was born November 5, 1963 at Iowa City. He received his education in Webster City schools, graduating in 1982. He served in the U.S. Army - Combat Engineers from May 1985 to July 1989 at Fort Ord, CA. Following his discharge, he returned to Webster City. In 1991, he started working at Electrolux. On August 4, 2001, he married Sonia Hawbaker at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. The couple resided at Lehigh. He is survived by his wife, Sonia; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Chelsea Kepler of Ames; daughters, Allison and Katelyn Raymond of Lehigh; Jade Kepler of Lehigh; parents, Kenneth and Marilyn Kepler; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Kathy Kepler; sister, Brandy Kepler; grandmother, Pat Kepler, all of Webster City; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Don Kepler; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Irene Kunz; Uncle, Mike Kepler and cousin, Steve Sharkey. He was a member of the Izaak Walton Club, his hobbies included hunting, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, bird watching, forestry, motorcycle riding and restoring old cars.
