Kathleen Nicholson

Kathleen Kay Kackley daughter of Gaylord and Maxine Strunk Kackley was born on August 18, 1950 in Lake City, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from the Webster City Senior High School in 1968. On September 7, 1968 she married Kenneth L. Nicholson at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City. Kathy was employed by Nissen Company for many years and also HyVee and Vantec until her retirement due to her failing health. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Nicholson; daughter Gailene (Mark Pruismann) Nicholson; son, Kenny (Rebecca Schwandt) Nicholson Jr.; grandchildren, Jacob and Taylor Pruismann and Karsen Nicholson; sister, Carol (Don) Rollins all of Webster City; brothers, Bill (Chris) Kackley of Muscatine; Kevin (Lisa) Kackley of Stanhope; 15 nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. Her hobbies included antiquing, going to garage sales and decorating her home.
