Julia Hoover

Julia Hoover, 76, of Webster City, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Windsor Manor. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Craig Blaufuss officiating. Julia Ann Hoover, was born March 6, 1942 in Parkers Landing PA, the daughter of George and Margaret Elizabeth Seibert Hoover. She received her Master's degree from the University of Illinois and her PhD from the University of Iowa. She was a teacher in the Chicago Public School system. Julia taught one year in Kuwait and Scotland. When she returned to Chicago, she taught English to Russian Jewish immigrants. After obtaining her nursing degree, she worked as a nurse for eight years in Chicago hospitals. Julia then received her Real Estate license and started her own business, Hoover Reality, where she sold commercial real estate. She retired in 2005. Julia is survived by her son, Sean Robert (Schura) Clerici of Cocoa, FL; granddaughter, Marissa; cousins, Nancy Rinehimer of Webster City, Jon (Sue) Doolittle of Webster City, Deb Kohl of Blairsburg, Kay Tirk of Pennsylvania ; and close friends, the Kravtsov family of Chicago.
