Judy Amundson

Judy Amundson, 76, of West Des Moines formerly of Webster City died Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Graceland Cemetery. Foster Funeral and Cremation is caring for Judy and her family.
Judith LeAnne Wilson, daughter of William Edwin and Carlene Boozell Wilson, was born June 4, 1949 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1967. Judy was married to Jerry Roger Amundson on February 6, 1969 in Jewell. She worked for the Daily Freeman Journal for 36 years. Judy enjoyed watching many area parades, collecting angels, and word search puzzles.
She is survived by her brothers, Dwayne Wilson of Webster City and Keith (Beverly) Wilson of Polk City, two nieces, and a great-nephew. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry in 2002; and her parents. She was a past member of the Church of Christ.
