Joyce Odegaard, 96, of Webster City died Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
Joyce Elaine Wells, daughter of Clarence and Mildred (LaMee) Wells, was born October 12, 1929 in Britton, South Dakota. She attended school in South Dakota and Iowa. On May 5, 1951, Joyce was united in marriage to Clifford Odegaard in Princeton, Missouri. She had worked for Modern Cleaners and Frigidaire prior to her retirement in 1994. Following retirement, she enjoyed babysitting her great-grandchildren. Joyce was a past member of the Moose Lodge and like to read.
She is survived by daughter, Laurie Tate of Webster City; grandchildren, Tara (Andrew Pate) Leeper, Jason (Tessa) Keeling, Amy (Steve) Young, Eric (Allison) Odegaard, Peter (Elaina) Odegaard; great-grandchildren, Bradley (Taylor) Tate, Reid (Emma) Leeper, Tatumn (Jayden Glenn) Leeper, Trinity Keeling, Jason Keeling Jr., Holden Odegaard, Oliva Odegaard, Madison Young, Riley Young, Neil Young; great-great-grandchildren, Ava, Olyver and Fynley Tate; sister, Jeanne Williams of Ames; brother, Jerry (Carol) Wells of Webster City and sister-in-law, Donna Wells of Webster City.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her parents; great-grandson, Jorden Leeper; siblings, Francis “Bud” (Patsy) Wells, Phyllis (James) Barker, Patricia (Glen) Hilpipre, Layton Wells, Sandra (Allen) Kunz, Arlen Wells, Terry Wells, Rosemary Wells; stepsons, Michael Odegaard and Alan Odegaard.
