Jeanette Ratzke, 82, of Webster City formerly of Williams died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Van Diest Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. A private family service and burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery near Williams. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with caring for Jeanette and family.
Jeanette Louise Crilly, daughter of Thomas and Frances Holdgrafer Crilly, was born May 21, 1942 in Williams. She graduated from Williams High School. On April 11, 1959, Jeanette was united in marriage to Avery Allen Ratzke in Williams. Prior to her retirement, she worked many years at Electrolux and Growmark FS.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Patty) Ratzke of Williams; daughter, Regina Ratzke of Duncombe; daughter-in-law, Lori Ratzke of Dows; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Brim of Williams, Rosemary Lehmann of Elgin and several nieces and nephews.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Avery in 2017; sons, David and Rick Ratzke; her parents; great-grandson, Knox Ogg; brothers, Richard Crilly, Donald Crilly, Tom Crilly Jr.; sisters, Mary Stanley, Elizabeth Bradley and brothers-in-law, Junior Brim and Earl Lehmann.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Williams. Jeanette loved to entertain and spend time with her family. She enjoyed many hours watching the birds and caring for her gardens.
