Francis Borway

Francis Borway, 89, of Webster City, died February 13, 2019 at his home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery.
Samuel Francis Boring, son of Samuel and Edith Austin Boring, was born February 14, 1929 in Wright County. Later changing his name to Francis Chris Borway. He served with the U. S. Marines and was discharged in May of 1952. On December 31, 1957, he married Helen Lawson at Webster City. He had been employed at Frigidaire and Electrolux for several years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; brothers, Howard and Franklin Boring.
Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #191.
