Filiberto Munoz, 23, of Kamrar, IA, formerly of Vernon, TX died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Filiberto Munoz was born January 12, 1993 in Vernon, TX, the son of Jose Munoz and Yolanda Zapata. Filiberto grew up in Vernon, TX and had recently moved to Kamrar. He loved to draw and was an amateur tattoo artist. Filiberto is survived by his father, Jose (Reyna) Munoz of Vernon, TX; mother, Yolanda (Damian) Zapata of Eagle Grove; longtime girlfriend, Eliza Longoria of Quanah, TX; children, Gavin "Ace" Longoria, Elisa "Gia" Munoz and Evelyn Munoz, all of Quanah, TX; siblings, Carolina Munoz of Kamrar, Lupita Munoz of Vernon, TX, Augustine Munoz of Texas; grandmother, Gloria Zapata of Eagle Grove; many extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jacinto Zapata, Sr. and his grandparents, Filiberto and Eva Munoz.
