Fern Loughry, 86, of Webster City died Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Per Fern’s wishes no services will take place. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
Fern Lorene Hoversten, daughter of Willard and Mildred (Wilson) Hoversten was born January 22, 1934 in Williams. She had eight siblings. Fern graduated from Williams High School. On October 3, 1954 she was united in marriage to Paul A. Loughry in Webster City. For over 30 years, Fern worked as a bookkeeper for First State Bank.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Connie) Loughry, Pat (Janet) Loughry, Kay Loughry (Mike Jones) all of Webster City; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Fern is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in 1993 and her parents, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
