Eugene Jondal

Eugene Jondal, 72, of Webster City died Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Southfield Nursing and Rehabilitation. Per Eugene’s wishes he will be cremated with no services scheduled at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for Eugene and his family.

Eugene Dewane Jondal, son of Marvin and Arla (Lane) Jondal, was born June 11, 1954 at Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1972. He enlisted in the United States Army serving from 1974 – 1977. Gene was married to Carla Rae Crouch on February 14, 1994. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Webster City Roofing, Electrolux and Mertz Engineering.

He is survived by his spouse, Carla of North Carolina; son, Jacob Crouch of Webster City; grandsons, Draytn and Kenji; brothers, Tim (Sandy) Jondal of Webster City, Tony (Cindy) Jondal of Badger and several extended family members.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Jack Hook; infant brother, Douglas L. Jondal; infant sister, Michelle R. Jondal and granddaughter, Kaiyah Rae Crouch.
