Elsie Heidick, 95, of Webster City died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Per Elsie’s request no services will be held. Foster Funeral and Cremation was entrusted in caring for Elsie.
Elsie May Whiteaker, daughter of William and Nellie (Brainard) Whiteaker, was born December 28, 1928 in Webster City. She attended school in Webster City. On December 2, 1945, Elsie was united in marriage to James Russell Heidick Sr in Kamrar. During her working years she was employed with Dermand’s Café, Woolworth’s and Webster City Laundromat, retiring in 1990.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Zamora of Webster City; grandchildren, Lydia Jane Zamora; and great-grandchildren, Robert, Gregory and Justice.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, James Heidick Jr., her parents; siblings, Annis, Avery, Robert, Herb, Lela, Winfred, Winona; and half-brothers, Todd and William.
