Elnora Lundy

Elnora Lundy, 85, of Webster City, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Southfield Wellness Community. Private family services will be conducted by the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. There will be no visitation. Elnora Marie Merritt, daughter of Ray and Marie Kiesecker Merritt, was born January 5, 1923 at Webster City. She received her education in the Webster City school system, graduating from Lincoln High. On June 20, 1946, she married Clarence Peter Lundy at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City. She had been employed at Webster City Custom Meats. Mr. Lundy died April 11, 1974. She retired in 1984. She had resided at the Stratford Care Center for 3 years and Southfield Wellness Community for the past 13 months. Mrs. Lundy is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Linda Lundy, Paul Lundy, all of Webster City; grandchildren, Chad and Jody Lundy of Eagle Grove; Teresa and Bob Campbell of Fort Dodge; Rebecca Lundy of Ames; great-grandchildren, Cody, Carter and Aimee Jo Lundy; Alexis, Daniel and Alison Campbell. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Janis Kay Lundy in 1954 and her parents. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary
