Donald “Butch” Burton, 65, of Webster City died Friday, March 22, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He will live on in others with the gift of organ donation. A visitation will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm Friday, April 12, 2024 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
Donald Edward Burton III, was born January 31, 1959 in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1977 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. He was employed for many years with Jaycox Construction and Electrolux, before retiring. Butch loved all sports and was an avid fan for the Green Bay Packers, Iowa Hawkeyes, and New York Yankees. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his sister, Tammy Burton Gibbs of South Carolina; nieces, Haley, and Hanna; nephew, Jake and several aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
