Dixie Garth Wood, 66, of Webster City, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Southfield Wellness Community. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Dixie Renee Garth was born November 14, 1949 in Webster City, the daughter of Lowell and Katherine McGuire Garth. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1967. Dixie is survived by her children, Marcus (Stephanie) Anderson of Boone, Dedra (Ed) Nerland of Williams; four grandchildren; siblings, Barb, Susan, Shirley, and Myron; and dog, Sadie Sue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; and her sister, Maxine.
