Diane Haburn

Diane Haburn, 85, of Nevada formerly of Webster City died Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
Diane Marie Markley, daughter of Kermit and Marie Jones Markley, was born August 3, 1937. She graduated from Braham High School in 1955 and went on to earn her bachelor’s in education from St. Cloud State in 1958. On April 11, 1963 Diane was united in marriage to Roger K. Haburn in Sioux Rapids. She taught elementary school in Buffalo Center before moving to Webster City. Diane enjoyed reading, doing cross-stitch and word finds. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her son, Mark Haburn of Nevada; stepsisters, Gayla Sorensen of Spencer, Solveig Spears of New Brighton, MN and many extended family members.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Roger in 1995; daughter, Joy Haburn in 1988; her parents; stepfather, Archie Hanson and stepsister, Nola Hindemith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Diane’s memory to Trinity Lutheran Church or Kendall Young Library.
