Deloris Tempel

Deloris Tempel, 79, of Kamrar, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael Slininger officiating. Burial will be at the First Presbyterian Cemetery at Kamrar. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Deloris Mae Downs, the daughter of Archie and Hazel Urich Downs, was born May 30, 1935 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1953. She married Elton Tempel on May 28, 1954 in Webster City. She had worked at Dunn's Grocery Store and Riverside Market. Deloris is survived by her husband, Elton of Kamrar; son, Steve (Kay) Tempel of Kamrar; daughter, Sue (Steve) Hammen of Schaller, IA; grandsons, Scott Tempel, Mike (Sara) Tempel, Elton (Jennifer) Konradi, Lance (Elizabeth) Konradi, Kevin Konradi; great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Ian, Ava; sister-in-law, Ruth Anderson of Texas, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Oscar Fitzlaff; grandson, Jesse Konradi; brother, Arthur Downs; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
