Curt Bergman

Curt Bergman, 68, of Stratford died Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Stratford Elementary School Gym. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.
Curtis Lee Bergman, son of Herbert and Arlene Johnson Bergman, was born January 5, 1953 in Boone. He graduated from Stratford High School. After graduation, he moved to Colorado where he was a senior designer-Inspector for various companies over the years - C.H. Guernsey and Co; Intermountain AEA, Stanley Consultants and United Power. Curt retired in 2017 and moved back to Stratford. On January 1, 2021 he was united in marriage to Marsha Christian Severson in Webster City.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Stratford; son, Ryan Bergman of Larimie, WY; stepchildren, Dan (Stephanie) Golovach of Erie, CO, Shanda (Steve) Hjelmeland of Webster City, Amos (Katie) Severson of Webster City; step-grandchildren, Danny and Mila Golovach, Ava, Dayne and Dawson Hjelmeland, Riley and Jojo Severson and Makenah Parker; brothers, Denny Bergman of Stratford, Jerry Bergman of Aurora, CO and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by his wife Diana Bergman, brothers, Dale and Dean Bergman and sister, Gloria Bergman.
Curt enjoyed treasure hunting with his metal detector, darts, slot cars, music and watching old westerns.
