Chris Mason. 66 of Webster City, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Mason Farm Shed, 2744 Tunnel Mill Rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Foster Funeral & Cremation Center is entrusted with serving the family.
Christine Mason, daughter of Peter and Elsie Brown Hansen, was born February 17, 1954 in Carroll. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School. On July 2, 1972, she was united in marriage to Michael Mason in Watertown, SD. Chris worked for Anderson Tax Service, helped with setting up 911 signage, and Edward D. Jones in Webster City.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Justin Mason of Granger, Trent (Angie) Mason of Duncombe, Brandon (Lori) Mason of Webster City; grandchildren, Bailey, Halle, Jack, Taylor, Austin, Miley, Tristan and Waylon; and many “fur” grandchildren.
Chris is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Clara, Rose, Tom and Peter Jr.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was also involved with Garden Club and FB Neighbors Club. Chris enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing the piano, and working with stained glass and leather. Her greatest enjoyment was raising her three boys and taking meals three times a day to the field to her favorite farmers.
