Catherine Redling

Catherine Redling, 89, of Webster City died Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Southfield Wellness Community. Per her request there will be no public services. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is caring for Catherine and her family. 

Elsie Catherine Trask was born May 3, 1937 to Glen and Elsie (Benton) Trask on a farm east of Lehigh. She graduated from Lehigh High School. On September 5, 1960 Catherine was united in marriage to Sterling Clifford Redling at the Church of Christ in Webster City. She had worked for K&M Laundry, Peeds Publishing and was a foster mom for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Glenda Harris of Blairsburg and many nieces and nephews.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Elsie; sisters, Margaret Day, Bessie Holder and brothers, Fred Trask and Lee M. Trask.
