The Trampel Service has been postponed to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Kamrar. Carl Trampel, 91, of Kamrar, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Kamrar with Pastor Paul Fischer officiating. Burial will be in First Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Carl Trampel was born November 12, 1926 in Webster City, the son of Adolph and Bina Klaver Trampel. He graduated from Kamrar High School in 1944. He married Barbara Joan McCollough on August 8, 1956 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She preceded him in death on March 3, 1970. He was a lifelong farmer in the Kamrar area. Carl is survived by his children, Allen (Gail) Trampel of Kamrar, Dwight Trampel of Webster City, Elizabeth (Mike) Kuennen of Ellsworth, Tim Trampel of Ft. Worth, TX; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters-on-law, Pat Klaver of Webster City and Lucille Naber-McCollough Sterzelmaier of Las Vegas, NV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; brothers, Fred Nordgren, Frank Trampel, Ervin Trampel and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Carl was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kamrar and the Kamrar Co-Op. He enjoyed cheering on Iowa, ISU and UNI, working on puzzles and recently adult coloring books, having coffee at the Co-Op, lunch at Pickles Pub and spending time with his grandchildren.
