Arthur Edward Rosine, son of Otto and Minna Pauline Rosine, was born August 29, 1918 at Eldora. He graduated from Eldora Community Schools in 1938. During W.W. II, he served with the United States Army, (Red Bull Division) in an Engineering Battalion from 1941 to 1945. On August 21, 1946, he married Wanda May Wagner at Eldora. The couple resided at Eldora, Iowa Falls and Webster City. He worked at Wood Auto at Eldora, Johnson Motors at Iowa Falls and Electrolux Home Products at Webster City, retiring in December of 1983. Mrs. Rosine died April 18, 2008. Mr. Rosine is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Don Maronn of Webster City; Marjorie and William Steinfeldt of Spring Valley, IL; Valerie and Lyle Smith of Webster City; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Kallem of Eldora; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Rosine in 1953; his parents; brothers, Richard, Robert and Donald Rosine and sister, Betty Owings. Arthur was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and U.A.W. Local # 442 of Webster City.
