Albert Carpenter

Albert Carpenter, 91, of Webster City died Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Van Diest Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the Church of Christ in Webster City with visitation one hour prior to the service. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Albert Maurice Carpenter, son of Fay and Edith (Myers) Carpenter, was born December 28, 1934 in Stratford, Iowa. He attended school in Stratford and then enlisted in the United States Marines, serving from 1954 – 1962. On April 15, 1955, Albert was united in marriage to Donna Rae Stemsrud in Waukegan, IL. Following discharge, he worked at Arrow Acme, until retirement.

He is survived by his sons, Keith Carpenter of Manning, SC, Kevin (Melanie) Carpenter of Norwalk, and Chris (Brenda) Carpenter of Clarion; grandchildren, Crystal, Jamie, Philip, David, Nick; several great grandchildren and extended family members.

Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his parents; son, Brian Carpenter; daughter Lori Carpenter; grandson, Greg Carpenter; brother, Philip Carpenter and sisters, Jean Mensing and Julie Handburg.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and the American Legion Post #191. Albert enjoyed sitting on his front porch, fishing, helping out others and traveling downtown on his scooter for Market Nights to enjoy the kettle corn.
