Sheryl Parrish, 78, of Webster City died Thursday, August 4, 2022, at her home after a short battle with cancer. Private burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
Sheryl Lynn Crider, daughter of Theral and Elinor (Bonner) Crider, was born May 18, 1944, in Brooklyn, Iowa. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1963 and received her licensed practical nursing degree from Iowa Central Community College. Sheryl worked in the surgical department at Hamilton Hospital from 1987 – 2007. She loved time spent with her grandsons, family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is survived by her son, Matt Parrish of Webster City; daughter, Angie (Barry) Youngdale of Webster City; grandsons, Sam, Ben and Gabe Youngdale; brother, Chuck Crider of Pennsylvania; sister, Lucille (Char) Peterson of Oregon; sister-in-law, Zola Asklund of Duncombe and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stan in January 2020; brother Terry Crider; sisters, Judy Crider, Margie Kay Nichols, Charlene Harrison, Thelma Stevens; brother-in-law, John Parrish; sisters-in-law, Debbie Carden-Crider, Gloria Bell, Zelda Reif, Linda Lee Parrish.
